Jenna Putnam is a writer and visual artist born on Maui and living in California. She is the author of the poetry book Hold Still (Paradigm Publishing), and is currently working on a collection of short fiction and a project inspired by her great-grandmother’s unpublished memoir Northern Lights. Her writing and photography have appeared in Autre, Hero, ExPat Press, The Moth, Pidgeonholes, The Sun, The New York Times, and others. Her poem “The End (pt. II)” was nominated for a 2024 Pushcart Prize, and her screenplay treatment for Northern Lights was a quarterfinalist for the ScreenCraft Film Fund in 2023.
